Tactics of the Mind Mage

It’s probably no coincidence that an artist named RamzaWolf accepts commissions to depict characters as if they were units in Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions. I happen to believe that the story of the game is one of the greatest ever told in a video game, so when I found out they were open I missed the first window. And when I found out she opened up again, I didn’t allow the chance to slip me by a second time.

A lot of people asked me what Enigma’s move list would be if “Mentalist” was a real job in Final Fantasy Tactics, which allowed me to flex my creative muscles. Here is the list:

• Psychic Lash – Inflicts non-elemental magic damage to target. Chance to inflict confusion, sleep, silence, blind, and/or charm.
• Revelation – Inflict non-elemental magic damage and raise the target’s Faith.
• Blasphemy – Inflict non-elemental magic damage and lower the target’s Faith.
• Wave of Courage – Inflict non-elemental magic damage and raises target’s Bravery
• Wave of Terror – Inflict non-elemental magic damage and lowers target’s Bravery

• Passive – Agnostic: Magical damage does not scale with Faith.
• Passive – Discriminate Magic: Spells do not inflict damage or negative ailments to allies
