Some Cats Love Water

It wouldn’t be a beach trip without a dip in the ocean, and Edmund can’t help but take advantage of his gifts, both natural and unnatural. With his powerful arms and legs displacing the water around him to propel himself forward is a simple task.

And he doesn’t just have athleticism working in his favor. His magical command of water and wind can be used to further boost his speed, helping him cut through the ocean razor-sharp scissors through paper.

But as he jets over to the island, visible just off the shoreline, his third advantage eggs him on: The knowledge that his Bunbun is cheering him on, cold drinks and a healthy snack ready for him when he makes it back in record time.

The vacation continues with Edmund and Morty, thanks to another YCH from LittleBadWolf back in July of 2024.

As a fun fact, at the time I decided to make Edmund and give him Storm magic, I actually didn’t know that tigers enjoyed swimming. That was a happy coincidence, another lucky stroke in the streak of serendipitous moments during my time as a hobbyist writer.
