Enigma was raised in a world where firearms aren’t an everyday concern. Old war machines had them, and the technology existed, but such devices were unwieldy. Only a titan would have possessed the strength to bring one into battle without assistance. As far as weapons go, there were always better options.

On the mean streets of Machresse, such projectile weaponry has been given portable, handheld form. And with practice, Enigma has become adept at wielding it, but old habits die hard.

There are simply times where a sword is a more practical answer. And in this plane of roughs, toughs, and other streetwise dangers, many are caught off guard by old school swordsmanship from a world outside their own.
