Magical Mastery

As a mind mage, Enigma is a difficult opponent to fight. For most people, drawing a weapon against him is a one-way ticket to getting themselves mind-controlled. Though he does not kill or permanently damage his aggressors, they will often be left in compromising positions, his way of sending a message.

Should more than one opponent be present, outside observers might experience a strange sight. By selectively controlling his opponents, Enigma will direct them to fight each other, taking advantage of the ensuing chaos as it suits him. In the rare case where his foe is immune to direct control, he can always fall back on illusions and stealth to tip the odds back in his favor.

Coming against him with a gang of paid thugs is a foolish endeavor, for in doing so you hand him the tools for his own victory.

This piece from LittleBadWolf of 2024 was the perfect piece to go with an explanation on how Enigma fights. Although it depicts Perfect Bond form, this description could easily apply to normal Enigma, and thus it will be listed under Concepting.
