Holiday Romance

“Like what ya see, little BunBun?”

Looking up at the tigerkin he was dating, eyes drawn to the shapely musculature of his exposed torso, Mortimer’s head began to nod vigorously. He had just returned from visiting his parents for the Solstice Celebration, and he was eager to get back into the swing of things.

Clearly, with the way Edmund was licking his lips, he too was equally eager. He patted his lap, prompting the rabbitkin to hop up onto it. At this point, they had been living together so long that words were almost unnecessary.

Still sat upon his kitty, Mortimer wrapped his arms around him, and was in turn embraced. His head gently resting upon his pillows Edmund called pecs, the little hare sank into the only source of warmth he cared about at the moment. No matter how chilly in was, that warmth never seemed to fade.

They sat together, snuggling, touching their snouts, and more. And once they were both ready, communicating in their wordless way, Edmund did the honors. Lifting his partner and carrying him gently into their bedroom.

It was going to be a long night. They had too much to catch up on.

Edmund and Morty were not the only ones enjoying the time off for the Winter Solstice. In staff housing, Professor Volpes likewise licks his lips in anticipation. It wasn’t often that he had a week off that lined up with his partner, Ranger Captain Azurium, and that meant they were free to be with each other.

After clearing the air at the rehabilitation clinic, their relationship had only grown stronger, as had the passion between them. It may have taken both of them many years to reach it, but they had indeed achieved happiness.

Another holiday theme pic, and a good excuse to spread the love to some of my other characters. This one was offered by the ever-reliable LittleBadWolf in December 2024, and I could picture scenarios for both Edmund and Volpes to make this pose, so I decided to get two slots.

This could rightly be consider a writing failure on my part, because I had initially set out to write something both more intimate and more lusty for Edmund and Morty. But between chickening out in favor of something more PG and not really having faith in my own ability to right sex as an ace person, my hand began to pen a story more wholesome. I supposed I shouldn’t be too upset because the final product is still pretty good, but it wasn’t the goal I set out on.
