“For those we have lost….”

“…For those we may yet save.”

This is Rabrandt Razorclaw, a Dark Knight looking to dispense justice where it must needs be dispensed, and protect those without the power to protect themselves.

I doubt this will be the last you see of him either. I’ve grown attached to him, and I would love to get more art of him.

This is the other YCH I purchased from Skyflu, again in February of 2021. I had never understood how people could get so attached to their MMO characters that they would start making tons of fanart about them.

And then I started playing Final Fantasy XIV during the Covid years, and suddenly it made sense. So much sense, in fact, that I quickly joined in and started making art and (in time) a backstory for my character.

To be clear, despite sharing a name, this Rabrandt has no relation to Enigma. “Rabrandt” is just a name I use often when games ask me to make and name a player character. Any fiction involved him is wholly separate from anything else in The Enigma Files, but it would feel incomplete not to include that when traversing my fiction.
