Enigma, the Slayer 1BGU Loyalty: 3 During your turn, Enigma is a Wolf Warrior creature with indestructible, trample, and base power and toughness equal to his loyalty. +1: Until end of turn, Enigma gains menace and must be blocked if able. 0: If Enigma is a creature, he fights up to one target creature an opponent control. If that creature dies this turn, put a loyalty counter on Enigma. -7: You get an emblem with "Planeswalkers you control are creatures with hexproof, indestructible, and power and toughness equal to their loyalty."

Enigma, the Slayer

I’ve been seriously thinking about this “Planeswalkers as creatures” design space and how else it could be applied. And in that context, the Emperor Enigma felt like an appropriate vehicle to explore that space further.

If planeswalkers can be creatures, then they can be given a suit of combat-related abilities that throw them into the fray and have them smacking weak creatures around to clear the board and grow stronger.

I don’t think I’d actually use this card against a playgroup, but I needed to get the concept out of my head.
