A Master of Unlocking
“Lockpicks? I don’t carry them. I’ve got my own set of tricks for getting where I need to go.”
Infiltration is a necessary part of the detective’s trade, and Enigma is no different from his peers in that regard. It is sometimes necessary to be discreet, entering areas without making noise or leaving evidence of your presence.
To that end, a symbiote can come in quite handy. Rather than carry lockpicks around (which could be detected if he’s frisked) he can simply make his bondmate into one on command. It even minimizes the traces of the break-in.
Hopefully, our hero finds the evidence he’s looking for.

I was trying to come up with creative ways that Enigma could make use of the symbiote, and as a detective this seemed like one of the most obvious. It would be convenient to always have a lockpick on, or in, one’s person, especially when they’re trying to break into places people don’t want them to.
