Summer Fun at the Moonfaire

Between adventuring, training, and various side hustles, Rabrandt is a busy man, always working on something. But one thing he learned in his military days is that everyone needs a vacation, a chance to recuperate and recharge. And now that it’s the season for the Moonfaire Festival, there’s never been a better time to take it.

As a resident of Limsa Lominsa would know, the beaches of Costa Del Sol are always abuzz with activity, but it’s truly during the Moonfire Faire that they come alive, adventurers from all over Eorzea coming together to celebrate.

For the citizens of Eorzea, it may seem strange to see their champion dressing casually, running up and down the beach as he roughhouses with the men and women of his profession, but the former Warrior of Light is still just an adventurer at the end of the day. The next big challenge will one day come, but for now, it’s okay to enjoy the peace.

There’s not too much story behind this piece from LittleBadWolf back in August of 2022. I wanted a piece to commemorate the season since summer was coming to an end. The Moonfaire event was still ongoing in Final Fantasy XIV at the time, and the YCH was just put up on FurAffinity. With all of these disparate factors aligned, I chose to take a slot for myself.

And I love the end result.
