A Mean Right Cross

After getting his start in the boxing scene in Magistrum City, Edmund began to rise through the ranks in the same way he did back in his hometown Oplentis. It earned him the right to take on fighters from other cities as the representative of the local fighting scene.

His opponent in this most recent match, one CoopRaccoon, was a strong and skilled fighter. For multiple rounds, they went back and forth, dodging and blocking each others’ strikes, getting in whatever jabs they could. As audiences would tell you, it could have gone either way.

But eventually, the decisive blow was struck. Edmund saw an opening, throwing his full force into a devastating right hook. Credit to Coop, he remained standing even after taking it straight to the jaw, but ultimately wasn’t able to fully recover. In the end, Edmund was declared the winner of the bout.

This was a fun little piece. As I get more and more into Kickboxing, learning more about other combat sports as I do, it’s fun to lean more into that realm. Double so since there’s a robust community within our own fandom of fighters and fighting enthusiasts.
