A depiction of Emperor Enigma, wearing naught but a loincloth, boots, and gloves, bringing an axe to bear against a black dragon.

The Dragon’s Bane

“Powerful as you are, you are still bound by nature. We titans defy the natural order. You are nothing before me.”

Empowered by the titan serum, and mind warped when his magic made contact with its personalty-altering additives, the wolfkin once known as Enigma has bought wholesale into a fantasy that none exist in the natural world with the strength and skill to oppose him.

Unfortunately for the world at large, he has thus far been proven correct. His newly enhanced body, capable of healing rapidly both from injury and fatigue, combined with his status as the newfound ruler of Oplentis, affords him the ability to spend nearly all of his time training.

And once he heard reports of a dragon encroaching on his territory, he could hardly contain his excitement. Between all the mentors he had brainwashed and the training bestowed upon him by them, this was the perfect opportunity to put his skills to the test. Defeating weak warriors in the coliseum was one thing, but a living, breathing dragon was a challenge worthy of him.

His citizens experienced a newfound sense of both awe and fear when he returned, a cart wheeling in the beast’s head as his trophy.

When I saw this YCH from Furayob, it was too perfect for Emperor Enigma to pass up. He’s exactly the kind of arrogant required to fight a dragon on his own, and skilled enough to win that fight.
