Pride of the Professor

You did well on the last test. It’s clear that you’ve been putting in the work, studying hard, attending practice, and the results speak for themselves.

Perhaps you aren’t quite an expert yet. Perhaps other students pick it up faster than you do. But what matters most is that you’re improving. You’re better than the person you were yesterday.

Professor Rabrandt has taken notice, and he wants you to know that he’s proud of you for your tenacity and determination.

Though it wasn’t uploaded until October of 2024, it was actually drawn and finished back in April of the same year. Rather than commission them for this piece, or ordering a YCH pose, LittleBadWolf actually drew this for me as repayment for doing them a favor, at a massively discounted rate. They were having difficulty getting sheet music they needed for music practice, so I pitched and they were happy to draw this for me in return. I was more than happy to do so.

Just as Enigma is more than happy to assist the students in his care. Comparison is the thief of joy, so Enigma is quick to remind students that as long as they put an honest effort, that’s all he can ask of them. They’ll be better than they were before, and that’s what matters most.
